Nunavut Fisheries Strategy
Nunavut’s fishing industry will become an increasingly important contributor to the economic growth of the territory. Achieving this potential will not be easy and all responsible Nunavut agencies must play an active role in moving the fisheries agenda forward.
The Nunavut Fisheries Strategy provides a tool to guide the development of Nunavut’s fisheries over the next five years. The strategy is a ‘living document’ that is updated and revised on a regular basis through the development of annual work plans to reflect the changes that are occurring in the industry.
