Nunavut Economic Forum
Nunavut has adopted a unique collaborative approach to economic development.
The preparation of the Nunavut Economic Development Strategy in 2003 brought together the Government of Nunavut, the Government of Canada, Inuit organizations, municipal governments, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. More than 25 groups contributed to the preparation of the strategy and today share its goals and responsibility for the achievement of its 13 strategic priorities.
The Nunavut Economic Forum brings together Nunavut’s economic development agencies to share information and to work on the implementation of the Nunavut Economic Development Strategy.
